Office of Technology Services (OTS) Guide to Accessible Web Services
Accessibility is a commitment to caring about providing equal access to our services. It is not an item on a project checklist.

What OTS is Doing
The guides on this website are just part of a meaningful change in making Louisiana digital services inclusive and accessible.

Writing Policies
We write accessibility policies, guidelines, and strategies with partners. They offer a diverse range of abilities and perspectives.

Creating Guidelines
We’re creating user-friendly, accessible guidelines to help state employees make web content accessible.

Improving Processes
We’re helping to improve procurement processes and supporting state employees with guidelines, training, and support.

Following Standards
We follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our minimum standard. These are standards commonly used across government and the web industry.

Helping Agencies
We help align with executive branch agencies to provide training, support, and resources for accessibility.
